NSPIRE is a business and management solutions organisation, established August 2010, incorporating HROS which has been in operation since June 2005, NSPIRE provides on- or off-site solutions to clients, focusing on the people practices of the business. Heidi Thompson is the founder and managing director of NSPIRE. She has been in HR management for 22 years of which 10 years have been at a senior level in the corporate environment and the last six years have been at a strategic level assisting CEO’s, MD’s and Boards. Experience has been gained in academic organisations, the professional sector (such as law firms and engineering companies), information technology businesses, the mining industry, chemical environment, government, municipalities and parastatals. Assistance has been rendered to organisations, varying in terms of size from small family-owned businesses to larger environments up to 1 200 employees.

NSPIRE boasts a support team of three senior consultants and various associates that assist on-site at clients, on a retainer basis. This is on a one to five day a week basis, depending on the client’s operational needs and processes. These consultants are allocated to a particular client and get to understand the intricate challenges that each of our clients face due to their unique environment. We also have a network of experts available who were selected for their specialised expertise. These specialist areas include: people assessments (psychometric), recruitment, payroll management, job evaluation(grading), logistics and procurement management, representing the clients in labour court, information technology infrastructure and management, training and development, HR administration and leadership development and coaching.

Credentials


Heidi is registered with the South African Board of Personnel Practice as a Chartered HR Practitioner (SABPP 5893). She holds a BA (Law) from the University of the Free State, a BA Honours (Industrial Psychology) from the University of South Africa and a MA (Industrial Psychology) from the University of Johannesburg. Elize has been working in the HR field since 1994 of which 5 years have been at senior management level. The last 4 years she has spent as consultant to a variety of industries: municipal, mining, engineering, construction, IT, banking and insurance within sub-Saharan Africa. Much of the consulting work focused on HR policy and work process refinement within a technology driven environment.  The successful implementations attest to her practical approach. Elize assists companies with HRIS implementations, policy development and full HR audits. Elize is also experienced in employee relations. She holds a BCom (Communication) degree completing Industrial Psychology and Communication at Honours level.
