Heidi Thompson is registered with the South African Board of Personnel Practice as a Chartered HR Practitioner (SABPP 5893). She holds a BA (Law) from the University of the Free State, a BA Honours (Industrial Psychology) from the University of South Africa and a MA (Industrial Psychology) from the University of Johannesburg. Her thesis dealt with the introduction of employment equity in professional services firms in South Africa. Heidi travels throughout Africa facilitating policy development and performance management programmes. Her approach is practical, providing clients with a feasible solution, yet always remaining within the parameters as set by legislation. Her passion is in terms of change management initiatives within organisations and she regularly writes articles dealing with day-to-day issues the employers and employees may face. Heidi also chairs senior level disciplinary hearings and provides guidance to Boards when dealing with misconduct or incapacity issues related to executives and/or directors. Heidi started her career in the people processes training Community Development Facilitators for the Department of Health.
Margaret Collins is the Payroll and Tax Practitioner for the team. She has a National Diploma in Personnel Management with 27 years HR experience. In addition, payroll has always been her passion and hence for the past 18 years she has been specialising in payroll and related services. Margaret set up the payroll system for SA Breweries in Tanzania. Her general all round HR experience gives her a practical approach, yet compliant to dealing with structuring of remuneration and setting up payrolls. Margaret effectively manages payrolls from varying sized companies, industry and complexity.
Ilse Morris has an Honns (Industrial Psychology) and has extensive retail experience as HR Practitioner. She has been practicing in HR since 2003. She advised the Durban Chamber of Commerce as HR Practitioner for many years before she decided to relocate to the UK. She gained valuable international HR experience whilst in London for four years. Ilse’s vast experience ranges from selection, job profiling to advising clients on related labour issues, which is her passion.
Chiquita Schram is the administrative and quality control convener for the team. She is the executive PA, with 30 years experience, that facilitates arrangements between the client and team members. Chiquita has extensive coordinating experience in various industries. Chiquita also holds a BProc (Law) from the University of South Africa, as well as a national secretarial diploma. Chiquita’s passion lies in being able to assist the team with spreadsheet work, presentations and proofing all documents.
Rose Elcock is originally from Uruguay and finished her Honours in Industrial Psychology in Argentina. Rose also lived in the UEA and has now settled in South Africa. By having had exposure to working in the HR field in different countries, she has gained an international understanding of Human Resources and closely follows the latest HR trends, particularly in the talent and performance field. Rose’s passion lies in talent management – from creating job profiles, to assisting employees during their tenure and to exit.
Zoe Loeve is an Executive Coach with a B.Com Honours Industrial Psychology and 17 years of HR experience from a range of industries including construction, legal, financial services, education and retail. During her 10 years of focusing on Organisation Development Zoe found a niche with young talent and has successfully implemented bursary, graduate and mentorship programmes. Most recently setting up an International graduate programme with an emphasis on Global Citizenship and the dynamics of expatriates and repatriates. Zoe has an outstanding ability to assist others in finding the balance needed to achieve improved performance, increased productivity and reach their full potential. Her passion for people, their well-being and personal development enables her to offer solutions that can be tailored to organisation needs. She has a strong interest in wellness, managing an HIV and NCD programme for many years inspired her interest in behaviour change coaching. She now focuses on lifestyle solutions and coaching to proactively improve the performance and productivity of individuals and organisations.
Angel Viviers is a Health, Safety and Environmental Practitioner who is dedicated to ensuring compliance and the deliverance of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Management) within the workplace. She is a Technical Member of the South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (SAIOSH). The following courses were finalised: SHERQMAT, Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation, Legal Liability as well as Construction Regulations. Angel will assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System specific to the client’s needs. Services offered include development and implementation of SHEQ Management Systems, site specific Safety Files, incident investigations, baseline Risk Assessments, Assistance with Construction Permits and Notification of Construction Work, GAP Analysis’ inspections and assistance to obtain Department Licensing and Approvals such as Fire Clearance, Occupancy Certification, Certificate of Acceptability (Health Department), Trading Licenses and Event Safety Management.
Valerie Steyn is an Industrial Psychologist with extensive experience in municipal environments. She is passionate about facilitating change management in an organisation. She holds a Masters Degree in Industrial Psychology from UNISA and has 27 years HR experience. Valerie focusses on organisational development and assessments. Starting with a diagnosis of the organisation to identify the most important interventions necessary, using behavioural-science knowledge (observing, interviewing, qualitative and/or quantitative methods). These interventions may vary from major organisational development interventions, strategic, techno-structural, management and leadership, to team, group or individual interventions. She adds value to the Nspire Team as an HR Generalist in terms of analysis, planning improvement initiatives, facilitating, advising and guiding management on a daily basis regarding the people processes. Specialist assistance is rendered in terms of recruitment and selection: assessing potential employees in terms of skills and abilities/aptitudes, talent and personality by using psychometric assessments.
Tiffany Reed has been in HR for the past 14 years. Her last position was the HR Director for a leading events company that focused on corporate events and entertainment for blue chip clients in the financial services sector. She holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology with Honours (BA (Hons) Psychology (UNISA) and a Diploma in Human Resources Management and Training. Tiffany has a strong focus on alternative dispute resolution procedures and labour matters.
Tiffany focuses on helping clients with preparation to become more BBBEE compliant. Her assistance involves guidance in terms of structuring the business and other initiatives to reach a desired level for BBBEE verification purposes.
Abrina Moshole has over 5 years’ hands-on experience in Human Resources functions, with particular interest in Payroll Administration, preparation and implementation of HR policies, procedures and processes, Performance Management and People Management. She also has over 10 years’ experience as a Financial Manager in the Construction, Engineering, Vehicle Manufacturing, Investment Banking and the Gaming Industry. Given her financial background, she is able to offer assistance with B-BBEE strategy development, implementation and preparation for the verification process.
Anita’s dream of working with people was founded early on in her career when she had an opportunity to encourage, support and empower people to reach their full potential. It was this passion that directed her into the field of human resources more than 25 years ago. She has worked extensively in the retail services sector; emergency services; and health care environments. Her most recent experience over the last 12 years was with a large private healthcare group operating as the General Manager HR for South Africa and as a senior HR partner to business executives and directors in the 3 business units. Through her interactions in these dynamic businesses she has gained valuable knowledge and experience in the field of designing HR strategy aligned to the business strategy; change management; talent management and leadership development. She has extensive experience in building stakeholder relationships with 4 large Unions and managing salary negotiations for the Group.
Anita has a thirst for knowledge and has completed her Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in: Psychology, English and Speech and Drama. She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Social Science honors degree in Industrial Relations. Anita is undertaking her master’s from January 2019 in Leadership.
